Taking Control of AI: Becoming a Prompt Engineer

The word “Prompt” is just a fun name for the detailed instructions or question you give a super-smart computer (the AI). “Engineering” means learning how to skillfully build those instructions.
Our objective is to educate children on the core principles of prompt engineering and how to critically interpret the text they receive from powerful Large Language Models (LLMs). This hands-on learning will be facilitated through an engaging, web-based interface powered by a concise Python application running behind the scenes. By seeing how this simple program acts as the ‘connector’ to the AI, children will gain familiarity with basic programming logic and how digital tools are built.
